Scott Lowther - System Tester Extraordinaire |
Scott Lowther has been personally trained by Chris Tate and Louise Bedford, so he knows their systems intimately. Scott completed our Mentor Program in 2007. As well as being a successful private trader, he runs his own Supply Chain business and has an MBA, a Diploma of Financial Services, plus a Bachelor of Science and a Graduate Certificate of Computing. As our Metastock guru on our Mentor Program, Scott helps people learn about the charting package we use on this Program - Metastock. We're very lucky to have Scott along to help everyone make the transition from Metastock beginner to being incredibly effective with this charting package. Chris and Louise use Scott's services extensively, but for a slightly different purpose. With Scott's qualifications, he's the 'go to' bloke that we turn to when we need to test our trading systems. With his extensive software knowledge of specialist back-testing products like TradeSim, Scott's input into our system testing and design has been invaluable. |
Scott's Other Passion

Scott's other key passion involves martial arts. He has two martial arts black belts. This is actually an attribute he shares with our very own Chris Tate. (Yes, the big bloke also has two black belts of his own as well.) Scott has the mind-set, the skill-set, and the determination to drive your trading to incredible heights. You'll be hearing more from Scott over the coming months as Chris and Louise prepare to launch their new trading advisory services - Black Belt Trader membership (focussing on a daily Index short-term trading system) and Louise Bedford's Hit List (focussing on a medium-term shares and CFD trading system). Scott will be responsible for systems testing for these trading systems, and helping you maximise your profitability using these new services. As well as looking after our ongoing system development, he will be responsible for running the tele-coaching and webinars, which will be available to you when you join our soon to be released Advisory Service.

“Scott Lowther was an invaluable help to me. He always replied to emails promptly and no question was too silly. After struggling with Metastock despite a lot of input from Scott I wasn't coping. He arranged for my husband and I to have a MS lesson at his home (for a small fee of course).
His generosity in allowing my husband to be present was wonderful as my husband has an IT background. After that things changed a lot for me and I was able to navigate my way around MS a lot more. To this day he is a never ending source of advice and practical help.
